Volunteer in Ecuador with Street Children!

Do you love kids and have a passion for helping those in need? Would you like to travel to the exciting South American destination of Ecuador and make a real meaningful difference?

Join Global Crossroads in Ecuador, a small country that packs a big punch when it comes to international travel.

From the Galapagos islands to traditional villages to colonial cities to the Andes mountains, Ecuador has a wide variety of experiences you won’t soon forget.

Sadly, there are thousands of street children and orphan children in Ecuador. Many more live in dysfunctional families and take to the streets to try and escape the abuse and neglect they suffer from.

At Global Crossroad’s street children volunteer program in Ecuador, we pair up international volunteers with a variety of organizations who are trying to serve the needs of these poor, abandoned children by providing a safe home, adequate nutrition, and much-needed care and attention.

Contact Global Crossroad today to help keep Ecuador’s youth off the streets!

Volunteer Responsibilities & Impacts

The poor abandoned street children of Ecuador need your help! Support them in a “buddy role”, spending time with them and encouraging them in fun activities that will inspire them to a bright future and to avoid the pitfalls of life on the streets.

While volunteering with children in Ecuador, you may also help teach English and other subjects, engage the kids in art, music and other creative endeavors, help them with homework, and help prepare and serve their meals.

When you join this project, you will help save the life of the kids who are living a vulnerable life at streets. You will share your love, passion and skills and help them grow as a humble citizen. Not only this, you will gain a fulfilling experience by being the change of impoverished children.

Skills and Qualifications

There are no specific requirements to join this program, and we invite volunteers from a variety of backgrounds and interests from around the world. The primary requirement is having a love for kids, patience, and a willingness to help youth who come from difficult backgrounds.

Beginner to intermediate knowledge of Spanish is preferred for volunteer opportunity with children in Ecuador. If you cannot speak Spanish, we recommend enrolling in our Spanish Language Studies program. You can do this as a week immersion before your project start date or take classes during the day while you are volunteering.
