Internship projects for Panda conservation in China

panda conservation internship

Though being renowned as the most stunning country, poverty has led the country down. The major victims are no other than the children. Global Crossroad has links with different orphanages in China that shelters these children. Our internship project will allow the interns to work for the orphanages to serve the children in need.

Habituated in the mountain regions of Central China are the Earth's most wonderful creatures. Panda, the rarest and most endangered species on this planet needs your help. With an increase in their extinction, these creatures are most likely to be a tale for our future generations to come. Global Crossroad collaborates with a conservation centre situated at Ya'an, about two hours outside of Chengdu and introduces an internship project for Panda conservation in China. Interns will have a splendid time working for this conservation centre and relishing the company of beautiful pandas.

Interns will spend their entire time serving for the pandas and taking care of them. The interns will be guided by the staffs and coordinators working at the conservation center and will mentor on how the pandas are to be treated. Interns can feed, clean and provide the pandas with basic medical treatments. Interns can help in taking the tourists on a tour of the conservation centre. Interns can also partake in administrative activities such as data entry, marketing, website development and brochure development. Although being a carnivore, the primary food for pandas is bamboo. Interns will have to feed the pandas as per their timing and schedule.

A direct and personal interaction with the pandas is an experience worth gaining. Getting involved in an internship project aiming to help and save the world's most endangered species is an achievement on its own. Interns can flaunt their resume and boost their career with this internship project. Living with pandas in a real habitat is a real lifetime experience. The interns can learn a lot about these animals, the natural habitats and environment. Also, the administrative activities will hone the interns in their management and operational skills. The internship project will serve the most to those who intend to pursue their career in forestry and wildlife conservation.

Internship project in Panda conservation requires no skills and qualifications except the medical requirements. The interns will have to submit their immunization records or physical reports (not more than 3 months old) before going to China. An added amount will be charged to your fee on the examination conducted at the conservation centre if the medical reports are not provided earlier. The interns are expected to have a soft corner for the animals and should be eager to serve for them and preserve wildlife.
