Thailand Childcare Volunteer (Surin & Ayutthaya)!

Do you have a soft spot in your heart for children? Do you have a thirst for exploration and adventure? Global Crossroad has a wonderful volunteer with disadvantaged children in Thailand for someone just like you!

Thailand is a gorgeous country to travel in and to roam through. The country’s rich history and culture is on display in the many ruins and temples found across the country and the people are friendly and welcoming, earning the country’s nickname as the “land of smiles”.

Unfortunately, in areas like Ayutthaya and Surin the average income is very low, and access to adequate childcare services for poor families is nonexistent. Parents often have to travel far to provide for their kids, and thus have no choice but to leave their children unattended during this time.

This is a unique project where you will have the chance to share your love and compassion with children who will be ever so grateful for your time and attention. By giving them love and attention while their parents are working, you will nurture and inspire these children to greater heights.

Are you interested in an amazing adventure in Thailand that also lets you make a difference and change both your life and the lives of others? Then contact Global Crossroad about this exciting chance to volunteering in Thailand in orphanage and childcare center!

Volunteer Responsibilities & Impacts

Your tasks and responsibilities in this project will be varied. You will be responsible for caring for children, teaching English, organizing various extracurricular activities and assisting with administrative work. Most importantly you will provide love and care to the children and provide them with a safe and happy environment while their parents are away.

Through your efforts you will be providing children with a hope for a brighter future and allow them to reach their full potential and lead successful and thriving lives as adults.

Skills and Qualifications

You do not need any specific education, skills or experience to partake in this volunteer project. All you need is a great love and passion for children and a desire to help improve their lives and give them a chance at a better future. You also need to be a kind and patient person who is respectful of other cultures.

However, each of our childcare center is in huge need of support and development. Thus, the extra help offered by volunteers to run the daily operations and tasks will be very much appreciated.

Develop real and lasting relationships with children

The love and the care that volunteers provide the children with will make them feel loved and help them enjoy their childhood without any emotional disturbance or pressure. This way volunteers will get the chance to develop real and lasting relationships with children staying at our childcare center.
