Thailand Explorer 29 Days
(Volunteer in Thailand With Elephants And Building Projects)
Have you dreamed of a lifechanging journey to discover all Thailand has to offer? Do you want to travel and making a difference? Then this elephant volunteering program with Global Crossroad is perfect for you!
Thailand is an amazing country with plenty for you to experience and discover. Sandy white beaches, dense jungles, ancient ruins and mystical temples await you, and no matter what kind of sights you prefer, there is something here for you. The local people are notoriously friendly and welcoming, earning their country’s nickname as “the land of smiles”.
Sadly, Thailand still faces many challenges, especially in rural and poor communities. These communities suffer from disrepair and neglect, and the Thai authorities have been unable to provide adequate assistance. Additionally, the amazing elephant suffers on a daily basis due to exploitation, cruelty and destruction of their habitat through deforestation.
This is where you come in. As a volunteer in Thailand elephant program, you can help renovate and rebuild crucial facilities like schools and playgrounds, greatly improving the lives of everyone in the community. You’ll also get to make a positive impact for elephants by working closely with the local handlers to care for and feed them, providing them with a happier and healthier life.
Do you want to travel in an amazing country while using your love for people and animals to make a difference for communities and elephants alike? Then contact Global Crossroad today for more information!
Volunteer Responsibilities & Impacts
During the tour you will take part in two Thailand volunteering projects. As part of the renovation project you will be responsible for helping renovate and rebuild important facilities such as schools or playgrounds. This will provide great benefit for the community and increase the infrastructure available to children in need.
While in the elephant volunteering program, you will be involved in every part of the elephants’ well-being. This includes bathing, feeding and playing with the elephants, as well as planting, harvesting and preparing food for them. This will contribute to the happiness and health of the elephants and raise awareness of the species’ suffering so that local elephant owners and tourists are encouraged to find ethical ways to own and interact with these creatures.

All you need is a deep love for animals and people alike, and a passion for helping them and making the world a better place.
