Are you wondering if there will be any time for you to tour, explore and experience India culture, food and traditions? Are you interested in knowing some of the amazing and remarkable places that you can go when volunteering in our programs in India? No more worries the volunteer programs in India are well devised allowing you plenty of time to travel and fully emerge yourself in Indian culture.


Free Time –Delhi, Jaipur

When you join volunteer abroad program in India, you will work for 4-5 hours per day, from Monday to Friday. You get to spend free time in the morning and evening to visit around the local area sightseeing and exploring the nearby beautiful places of natural and cultural wonders.

The volunteer projects are located in the cities of Delhi and Jaipur. The capital city of Delhi is a bustling place, where impressions of both modern and traditional life can be discovered. It is also a cultural, historical and social city with vast diverse tastes. The pink city Jaipur is known for its palatial grandeur. The city is arid, well known for its amazing collection of old age forts that you cannot afford to miss while in India.


Weekend Exploration

While volunteering abroad in India, you will work for five days in a week from Monday to Friday. You will get two days off in a week, which you can spend by going around the country and observing its diverse natural and traditional wonders. 

There are many tourist attractions in India for you to explore. This exceptionally diverse country has renowned landmarks for you to visit and experience the moments. Be ready for a lifetime of fun activities and memories when you experience diverse traditional grandeur, age-old spiritual beliefs, colorful festivals, classic architecture and unending landscapes. These travel delights will give you a life changing perspective about the country when you come here for volunteering in India programs.

Victoria Memorial

Get out for a fun time and explore the incredible Victoria Memorial historical monument built out of white marble. It was designed to commemorate Queen Victoria’s demise in 1901. This excellent piece of classic architecture is a must see while volunteering in India projects.

Mysuru Palace

It is almost impossible to go to India and not check out the Mysuru palace. It is the second-most-visited structure, and one of the popular places of attraction in India (after the Taj Mahal). Carved wooden doors, mosaic floors and series of paintings telling tales of the ancient kings embellish this grand palace. This awe- inspiring experience and history you will learn here that is spell binding.

Botanical Gardens

If you are a nature lover, then this is right up your alley. Visit Kolkata’s lovely 109-hectare Botanical Gardens founded in 1786. It is home to more than 12000 plant species the best among them is the splendid Giant Water Lily Pads. It is a great place to escape from the busy city life during the weekends when you work for volunteer abroad opportunities in India projects

Hawa Mahal

You will be able to tour Hawa Mahal one of the most -distinctive landmark in Jaipur that was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. It is an extraordinary pink-painted, delicately honeycombed hive that rises to a dizzying five storey’s.  Over the weekend you will get time to visit this stunning palace for a rewarding life experience.
