Volunteer English Teaching Sri Lanka!

Do you love children and have an interest in education? Do you want to explore natural and cultural splendors of Sri Lanka while making a difference?

Then Global Crossroad has the perfect volunteer teaching English opportunity in Sri Lanka for you!

Sri Lanka is an amazing country that draws countless visitors every year with its rich history and culture, serene beaches and clear blue waters perfect for surfing.

The country is also incredibly diverse, and as a volunteer you will get to learn about the various religions and ethnicities that share this amazing island.

Sadly, due to the lasting scars of the country’s civil war, access to infrastructure and education is insufficient in many rural or poor areas of the country. Local governments and organizations do what they can, but the lack of resources and manpower means that they are unable to provide a proper English education in many areas, which is a critical skill for young Sri Lankans entering the job market.

By joining our volunteering in English teaching program in Sri Lanka, you will get to provide a better future for disadvantaged children by giving them access to a proper English education. This skill will give them a much greater chance at obtaining work in the country’s booming tourism industry, and thus provides a clear path out of poverty.

Are you interested in discovering a fascinating and beautiful country while greatly improving the future of disadvantaged children? Then contact Global Crossroad today for more information!
