Accommodation and Meal

While volunteering in Bali program, Global Crossroad's weekly fees include management of your accommodation and supervision. You are accommodated in an economy hotel throughout project.

The hotel is situated at the heart of Kuta. All the necessary facilities for a traveller like pubs, bars, restaurants, medical clinics and grocery stores are located within walking distance.

Moreover, the Kuta beach is just 10 minutes’ walk from the hotel. Walk to the beach on your free time and enjoy surfing. Experience the striking sights while drinking coconut water and fruits with brown chili and sugar.

Located 20 minutes’ drive from the placement, the hotel is secure, comfortable, peaceful and has sound living environment. The hotel offers various types of facilities in its own surrounding, making your Bali volunteering trip relaxing and more rewarding.

There are 41 quality rooms in the hotel each of which has flat television, a wardrobe, air conditioning and a pantry. Each of these forty one rooms is equipped with attached restrooms with cold and hot water shower.

The restrooms comprise western style toilet with free toiletries and running water. The staffs are welcoming and courteous and are always ready to address your needs. There is WIFI available for free of cost.

Meals

Global Crossroad’s weekly fees also include management of your meal plans. You will be provided two meals a day, breakfast and dinner during your volunteering work abroad in Bali. Lunch is your sole responsibility.

You will enjoy fresh fruit, toast, eggs, Tea, coffee during the breakfast. Dinner menu includes typical Balinese meals. In most situations, you will have rice and curry during the dinner.

One of the most lively and interesting cuisines in the world, Indonesian cuisines are prepared with fresh spices, herbs, grains and fruits.

Nasi Goreng (fried rice) is regarded as the national dish in Indonesia, which can be found everywhere from street to high rated restaurants. Major ingredients for preparing nasi goreng are rice, garlic, shallot, chili and tamarind. The rice is served mainly with egg, chicken, prawns or salted dried fish.

It is not safe to consume tap water in Bali. We suggest you to drink purified drinking water or boiled water. You can also easily find purified bottle water in nearby grocery store. If you want to eat out, there are several restaurants apt for all kinds of budgets and tastes.

If you are a vegetarian or vegan or have special dietary needs, please notify us when you apply. We try to address your needs if possible. As a volunteer in Bali project, you are expected to be flexible and cooperative.
