Thailand is a beautiful country with a rich culture and history. It is a fascinating place to explore as a traveler.

There are stunning landscapes, ancient temples, wondrous wildlife, picturesque beaches, and a population of kind people. Like many other countries in Asia though,

Thailand is plagued by poverty. Many Thais are living in destitute conditions and are lacking access to proper medical care, education, and basic human needs. Let’s not forget about the elephants either who are in great need of care and support too.

When you decide to volunteer abroad in Thailand, you are making the decision to help those who cannot fully help themselves.

There are opportunities to get involved with helping orphaned children, individuals who do not have the financial means or access to basic healthcare, students who want to learn English, and elephants who have been abused and or rescued.

There are so many incredibly meaningful ways to volunteer abroad in Thailand while also becoming truly immersed in the culture and surroundings.
