Volunteer in an Orphanage in Cambodia

Volunteer Teaching English in Cambodia

Sadly, those from low-income financial brackets cannot afford to send their children to private schools where English is part of the curriculum.

Private English tutoring is also out of their financial reach. As a volunteer English teacher in Cambodia, you will bring this highly desired and life-changing language to those who do not have access to English classes and lessons.

You are the instrument of change and opportunity for the students whom you teach.

Skills and Qualifications Needed While it is preferred that you have a teaching certification or English education degree, it is not required. English should either be your first language or you should have a mastery of it as a second language.

You should also feel passionate about working with children. The ideal volunteer English teacher in Cambodia is someone who is compassionate, patient, and flexible.
