deposit fee. This fee is strictly
non-refundable if a volunteer
chooses to cancel the program.
However, the fee will be completely
refunded if we fail to give you
a placement. No application will
be considered valid if it is not
accompanied by the program deposit

Once we receive your application,
we will send you placement details
within 2-4 days indicating that
you have been accepted. Global
Crossroad will send you an invoice
stating your outstanding balance.

Once you receive your placement
details, consult your doctor for
a physical exam, and get his advice
concerning your personal health
as related to the relief/reconstruction
work, Take necessary immunizations.

Begin flight arrangements;
Buy only those items necessary
for your trip. |

Pay the full program fee. We
must send the project donation
and the cost of your room, food,
transportation, and other accommodations
before you reach in Sri Lanka.

Apply for your visa. For nationals
of most countries (including United
States, Great Britain, Australia,
Canada, and other European countries),
visas are issued upon arrival.

Send your flight details to
Global Crossroad and our in-country
coordinator. His e-mail address
will be included in your placement
details. We will also forward
what we receive to our coordinator.
We want to make sure that you
receive a proper airport reception
and are promptly picked up and
taken to your project destination.
