Hanoi Children Center is located in the heart of Hanoi , near the Old Quarter and the tourist area of the city. This center has been established to assist the children to develop their social and academic skills through a wide range of activities such as sports, art and academic classes.

The Children's English Development Program has been running for over a year in cooperation with the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations. This program provides classes for children in Hanoi area for a very low fee.

Volunteers will teach students at the center who range from six to fourteen years old. Classes are generally in the evening, from 5:30 pm to 8:45 pm , and on the weekends (during June-August, classes are in day time). The volunteers
will teach basic pronunciation, reading comprehension, listening and speaking, and check homework assignments.
