Global Crossroad’s
Cross Nepal Tour covers the
three major tourist destinations
of Nepal: Kathmandu, Pokhara,
and Chitwan National Park. Participants
begin their Nepal exploration
in the city of Kathmandu. Kathmandu
Valley is the capital city of
Nepal and consists of three
main cities of great cultural
and historic interest. Pokhara
is a Gateway to the world-renowned
Annapurna Mountain region. An
enchanting city nestled in a
tranquil valley, this area is
often the starting point for
many of Nepal’s most popular
trekking and rafting destinations.
Chitwan National Park has long
been one of the country’s
treasures containing numerous
natural wonders.
Proposed
Itinerary
Day 1:
Sightseeing tour of
KATHMANDU CITY
Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu

tourist destinations and various
sacred places of Kathmandu Valley

National Park. After this tour,
a trip via canoe awaits participants
upon the Rapti and Narayani
Rivers. These river waters are
inhabited by carnivorous crocodiles,
as well as other unique species
of animals and birds. Upon return
back to the camp, participants
will break for lunch before
voyaging through the culture-rich
village of Tharu followed by

will experience a safari though
Chitwan National Park’s
jungles atop an elephant while

participants can visit the park’s
elephant stables where the senior
naturalists will provide an
in-depth lecture about the behavior/life
of these majestically giant,
often gentle creatures..
Day
5: Drive to Pokhara
The drive to Pokhara is approximately
150km – usually taking
about six (6) hours (often due
in-part to the unpredictable/unfavorable
road conditions. Upon arrival
in Pokhara, the group will check-in
to a hotel.
Day 6:
Sightseeing in Pokhara
The city Pokhara boasts numerous
sites of intrigue to satiate
the interests of just about
all those visiting. Also known
