Explore the multitude of cultures, sights and sounds of all Nepal's beauty - from the capital city of Kathmandu and the second largest city of Pokhara to the smaller, ethnic villages populated by some of Nepal's most indigenous people who still practice a number of time-honored traditions unheard of to the modern, western world. With a landscape as amazing and diverse as the cultures contained within, Nepal treats visitors to views of the world's most amazing and daunting mountains (Himalayas, Annapurna ) from various angles and elevations from towns scattered throughout this prismatic country.

Detailed Itinerary

DAY ONE: Kathmandu to Pokhara
Meet your guide at the designated hotel in Kathmandu early in the morning. Catch a bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara (approximately 6-hour ride covering 206 kilometers). En route, stop at Phewa Lake and enjoy a variety of few of both the Himalayas and Annapurna mountain regions. End the day's journey in Pokhara.

DAY TWO: Pokhara to Ulleri
From Pokhara, take an hour's drive to Naya Pul - a trading town located along the banks of the Modi River - and take an easy stroll along the sub-tropical Modi Khola River Valley to Birethanti (a large village on the old Nepal-Tibet trading route). Pass through intricately-terraced rice paddies, before arriving at Tirkhe Dhunga. Journey on to the Magar village of Ulleri where you will end the day.

DAY THREE: Ulleri to Ghorepani
From Ulleri, trek through beautiful, olfactory-pleasing fields of rhododendron and oak-filled forests; cross over sparkling streams all as a precursor to a short climb to Nangethani (literally: 'rest area'). Continue on to the Ghorepani pass - concluding the day's adventure.

DAY FOUR: Ghorepani to Tadapani
An early morning ascent to Poon Hill (3195m) treats trekkers to an enlightening scene as the sun climbs the sky to peak out from behind the Himalayan titans of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna , and Manalsu. Return to the lodge after this early morning excursion before beginning your return-descent to Ghorepani and setting out for Tadapani. Voyage through winding forests of pine and rhododendron, stopping off in Deurali and Banthanti before making the days final descent in Tadapani

DAY FIVE: Tadapani to Ghandrung

From Tadapani, descend downhill and observe a cornucopia of breath-taking views of the Annapurna mountains before taking a somewhat-steep drop at Kimche (1630m) where you will rest for a moment before pressing onto Chane. Next, walk atop a flag-filled path which slides through the Gurung-inhabited village of Ghandrung . The true beauty of this town is revealed by the astonishing view of south side of the Annapurna mountains as well as the Hiunchuli. In Ghandrung, spend the afternoon exploring the Annapurna Conservation Office as well as the region's museum.

DAY SIX: Ghandrung to Pothana to Pokhara
From Ghandrung, trek onward to the village of Pothana and (once again) witness the beauty of the region's various mountain within this small, Gurung-inhabited town. Finally, finish the last leg of the morning's walking trek at Phedi before taking a bus back to Pokhara.

DAY SEVEN: Pokhara to Kathmandu
Wake up for an early morning flight back to Kathmandu (approximately 25 minutes) where you will return to your respective hotel, this ending this seven-day adventure.
