There is much more to explore in Bangkok than just the usual city tours. The city is known as the "Venice of the east". In numerous canals dotting the city, the cruise will show riverside lifestyles, houses on stilts and children playing in the river. It's an unforgettable experience and the cruise ride is a relaxing journey.

Proposed Itinerary

Day 1 - Bangkok (-/-/-)

Arrive at Bangkok. Be greeted at the airport and be transferred to hotel accommodation.
Overnight. No breakfast, launch, or dinner

Day 2 - Bangkok (B/L/-)

Be enthralled by the beauty of three temples, spectacular yet delicate Thai architectural works of art: the Marble Temple, Temple of the Reclining Buddha and the Golden Buddha Temple. After lunch at a riverside restaurant, enjoy the cruise in a long-tailed boat along the water-ways. See Thai way of life from Klongmon canal, pass through Bangkok Noi canal, and then board the rice barge and cruise to meet the Chao Phraya River. Enjoy the spectacular river-view of the Grand Palace and the Temple of Dawn while enjoying deliciously fresh Thai tropical fruits in season and cocktails served on board. Overnight.

Day 3 - Bangkok (b/-/-)

End of services after breakfast.

Thailand Travel program begins from a designated place. Your volunteer and travel program fee does not cover the transportation from your project/hostel/host family to the travel start point. Thus, it is your responsibility to arrive at the right place at the right time and to return to your project. The exact address of your travel starting point will be given to you in Thailand.
