Overview of the Project

Upon arrival in Thailand , participants are immediately immersed in both an extensive and intensive TEFL program in either Bangkok or Pattaya. During evenings and weekends, discover the many wonders of Thailand . Global Crossroad's TEFL course is comprised of 120 hours of training and is recognized by the Thailand Ministry of Education.

Volunteer Service Project

Upon successful completion of the TEFL-certification course, graduates can further explore Thailand by joining in any of Global Crossroad's volunteer-based community service projects in areas surrounding Bangkok or located within North Thailand ( Chiang Mai). Chiang Mai is one of the most magnificent and stunningly scenic cities in Northern Thailand . This beautiful city is surrounded by rolling hills, mist-shrouded mountains, sparkling streams, calm lakes, stretching fields and cascading waterfalls. Global Crossroad's Thailand-based volunteer programs offer unique opportunities to experience Thai culture - encountering friendly townsfolk, supporting local communities, and taking part in excitingly new ways of life - in either an urban or rural setting.
