With advanced notice, Global Crossroad can reserve excellent housing accommodations for participants. Most accommodations are available within a 5 minutes' walk of the TEFL school. Many accommodations vary in prices - between $100-$200 US/month. A $115-$200 security deposit is charged upon arrival/move-in and is refunded (either fully or partially) upon departure/move-out. Participants are encouraged to set aside an approximate monthly budget of $150-$300. Local Common Vietnamese cuisine includes: com (boiled and/or grilled rice), banh chung (sticky rice cakes), gio lua (lean pork pie) , pho (Noodles) , cha-ca (grilled minced fish) , banh cuon (rice/flour steamed rolls) , bun (rice vermicelli) , and mien (vermicelli made of cassava).
