The School
Global Crossroad's affiliate TEFL school is located on Phaholyothin road in Bangkok - the spiritual, cultural, and political capital of Thailand . Within easy walking distance in any direction from the school are incredibly inexpensive internet cafés and innumerable food shops offering mouthwatering Thai cuisine at significantly low prices.
Two TEFL Programs in Bangkok
Global Crossroad presently offers two unique professional TEFL programs in Bangkok . Participants can select either one course or both courses depending upon time permitted and/or interest:

Housing Options
With advanced notice, the Global Crossroad-affiliate school can reserve excellent housing accommodations for participants. Most accommodations are available within a 5 minutes' walk of the TEFL school. Many accommodations run up to 4,300 baht (less than $100 US) per month. Participants are provided with a large, one-bedroom, air-conditioned apartment which is fully furnished with a large bed, dresser, table, chairs, refrigerator and telephone, as well as a cable television connection. A 5,000 baht (about $115 USD) security deposit is charged upon arrival and is refunded (fully/partially) when departing.
Paid English-Teaching in Thailand
 Native English-speakers are in great demand in Thailand . Many private schools, colleges, universities, and private business are looking for qualified TEFL teachers. Should participants decide to remain in Thailand , our coordinators' local knowledge and contacts will prove very useful - having connections throughout the country (primarily within private schools). English-teachers can expect salaries ranging from $800-$1000/month.
Generally speaking, our TEFL graduates seldom (if ever) encounter any problems finding employment in Thailand . With a well-written resume/CV, and a little effort on your part, 99% of TEFL participants are offered a job within 0 to 30 days of the successful commencement of their certification course.
