The School

Global Crossroad's TEFL institute is located in Accra – the capital city of Ghana – offering some of the Africa’s most beautiful beaches in addition to other places of interest such as the Perpetual Flame, the National Museum, local craft markets, the Makola Market, Liberation Square, and the tropical gardens.

Living Accommodations/Meals

Global Crossroad offers accommodations in either local host families or regional hostels - depending on space availability, time of year and/or field conditions. Accommodations are usually shared (with other participants) and three (3) local meals are arranged each day.

Salaries and benefits vary from country-to-country and are usually determined by education and qualifications. Below is an example of some of the salaries English-teachers can expect to receive:

•  Thailand : $800-$1000/month
•  South Korea : $1800-$2500/month
•  Japan : $1800-$2075/month
•  Taiwan : $1950-$3850/month
