The online TEFL Professional Course is an innovative and comprehensive course exceeding the basic online TEFL Instruction offered by other companies. This course is also the first of its kind in the TEFL field allowing participants to learn in a virtual classroom environment monitored by a certified instructor. Participants successfully completing the course are awarded the TEFL Institute's Professional Certificate - enabling worldwide teaching opportunities.

The online TEFL interactive course provides 120 hours of TEFL Certification Training consisting of 100 hours of online coursework. The materials offered include: classroom lesson-planning along with practice sessions in a professional, virtual classroom community. In addition to the 100 hours of online training, every graduate must complete 20 hours of real-world, in-class experience by either volunteering as a tutor or instructor at an EFL/ESL clinic located within their community. Also provided for every successful graduate is assistance in locating employment in other countries.

Participants in the TEFL Professional Course are enrolled in a virtual, online classroom through Blackboard.com. Participants work to complete the course at their own pace - given 60 days to complete the course. However, participants can extend the course's completion date for up to a year for a nominal fee. Assigned course instructors maintain online office hours and are available by telephone to answer any questions. Most participants complete the course in approximately 30-60 days - with some participants taking longer (should they choose to extend the duration of said course). The assigned TEFL Instructor will help participants through this process.
