The program fee will cover expenses beginning of the first day of the program (Usually first or third Monday) to the last day of the program. If you arrive before the first day of the program and/or stay beyond the last day of the program, expenses will be the responsibility of the volunteer (usually $30 per day for room/food in hostel).

What You Will Get For the language and Culture Program Fee

The program fee covers all room, food, local transportation, costs of the language class, including teachers, materials, village stay, village hiking, and other travel costs outlined in the program itinerary.

The Global Crossroad's language and cultural immersion program provides volunteers with many opportunities to explore the villages and cultural attractions of the local country. Keep in mind, this is not a luxurious travel plan. Depending upon the situation of the local country, Global Crossroad offers the travel part of language and culture program with the help of a local tour operator or a local project staff. However, in all cases, Global Crossroad offers local food, public transportation like buses and trains, and rooms - staying in guesthouse, with a host family, or in an economy motel. Global Crossroad does not offer exotic food (or food of personal choice), taxis or other luxurious transportation, and expensive hotel rooms during this travel period.
