Care for HIV/AIDS-Inflected

Also care for people with other diseases such as leprosy and cancer

Global Crossroad volunteers will work with a half-way house and living community run by NGOs in the outskirts of the big cities for HIV/AIDS-infected persons. In special workshops these affected people work at handicrafts, leather goods, and gardening to produce goods that are later sold in the market.

This is a live-and-work situation. Being part of the group is essential and your help where necessary is needed. You will understand that this is not a 9-to-5 job. Your placement will mean a community life and sharing of friendship by assisting the affected persons in their activities and helping them to live as normal a life as possible.
