Orphanages in Morocco provide both social care and protection for vulnerable, exploited children – particularly those abandoned or orphaned. Most of programs focus on health and education issues. These orphanages maintain nurseries for abandoned infants, educational programs for the children of poor working mothers, in addition to activities covering physical, moral, nutritional and personal developmental issues to these unfortunate children.

Working in the orphanage project can have a lasting impact on a child’s life in addition to offering participants a rewarding volunteer experience. This much-needed assistance in areas such as education, games, songs, and extra-curricular activities will greatly appreciated by both the children and the local project staff members.
