Global Crossroad’s
Mongolian Mini-Venture is a marvelous
opportunity to combine enriching volunteer
work with the enchantment of major tourist
destinations as well as hidden cultural
treasures. Our volunteers will live in a
“ger,” or tent house, during
their adventure in rural Mongolia. This
uniquely designed project allows our volunteers
to work with orphans. After this rewarding
experience caring for Mongolia's impoverished
children, volunteers will embark on a tour
of the country’s compelling landmarks
and enjoy nomadic monuments, flowing grasslands,
and thrilling horseback-riding sessions.
Day
1
Arrive at your project
site, meet the local staff, and receive
a short introduction to the orphanage project.
Our in-country coordinator will explain
activities, safety issues, and weather conditions
of the area.
Day
2-10 Volunteer at the community development
project (orphanage)
As a volunteer in our
partner orphanage, you will make a profound
and lasting difference in the lives of forgotten
children. Our volunteers create delightful
activities designed to bring joy into the
lives of lonely children. Along with teaching
conversational English, volunteers will
be engaged in other areas such as painting,
singing, and organizing games and lessons.
Our volunteers provide a positive educational
experience, perhaps encouraging a love of
learning and giving these children an immeasurable
gift—hope for the future
