Global Crossroad’s 1-2 weeks language and culture programs offer wonderful opportunities for volunteers to experience the local culture, lifestyles, and challenges before staring their volunteer/internship projects, for an amazingly low price, starting at only $199.

The language and culture program starts with 2-3 hours of local language training, cultural visits, language practice, and orientation about the local culture. The program is supported by short trips, picnics, visits to local villages, cooking classes, cultural programs, and hiking in nearby areas. Participants also move to rural villages and stay with a host family, explore local bazaars, learn basic lifestyles of local villagers, hike around the villages, practice their language skills, and work on local farms. The program also covers 2-3 days of visiting important cultural and tourist destinations.
