This longer-winded
but amazing safari hits a great
deal of the highlights of Tanzania’s
parks, including a few days
in the world-famous Serengeti,
the inescapable diversity of
the N’gorongoro Crater,
the waterfalls of Lake Natron,
as well as the Manyara National
Parks in the Great Rift Valley.
Proposed Itinerary
Day 1.
After breakfast, participants
are transferred to Lake Manyara
for a full-day safari accompanied
by a picnic lunch followed by
dinner and an overnight stay
at either Camp Vision’s
guesthouse or a campsite within
the village of Mto wa Mbu.
Day 2.
Travel to the N’gorongoro
Crater where participants will
journey into the heart of this
amazing, wondrous crater for
a full day spent in awe of the
diversity of wildlife contained
within. Also included is a mid-day
picnic lunch on the crater floor
concluding with dinner and an
overnight stay at either Camp
Vision’s guesthouse or
a campsite located within the
village of Mto wa Mbu.
Day
3. Journey to Seronera,
the very heart of the Serengeti
for another exciting, wildlife-brimming
safari accompanied by a picnic
lunch. The day concludes with
dinner and an overnight stay
at a public campsite in the
wild.
Day 4.
Full day’s safari experiencing
the world-renowned Serengeti,
including the opportunity to
experience Seronera –
the very center of the Serengeti.
The day concludes with dinner
and an overnight stay in a public
campsite located in the wilderness.
Day 5.
After breakfast, participants
are transported to Lobo in the
northern section of the Serengeti
– bordering Kenyan –
with a picnic lunch en route.
The day concludes with dinner
and an overnight stay in a public
campsite located in the wilderness.
Day 6.
Another full day of safaris
in the Serengeti.
The day
concludes with dinner and an
overnight stay in a public campsite
located in the wilderness.
Day 7.
Participants journey to Kamakia,
near Lake Natron. Participants
can spend the remainder of their
afternoon walking Lake Natron’s
sparkling shores or frequenting
its mist-filled, swimmer-inviting
waterfall.
The day concludes with dinner
and an overnight stay at the
Kamakia campsite.
Day 8.
Free time at Kamakia –
Participants can spend the remainder
of their afternoon walking Lake
Natron’s sparkling shores
or frequenting its mist-filled,
swimmer-inviting waterfall.
The day concludes with dinner
and an overnight stay at the
Kamakia campsite.
Day 9.
Participants return to Arusha
– passing by Ol Doinyo
Lengai Volcano.
