July 2007: Volunteers Construct Classrooms and New Beds for an Orphanage in Tanzania
More than 100 orphans are shouting a big "THANK YOU" for an inspirational, industrious group of can-do volunteers who built not only the foundation and first floor for a new dormitory, but also new and improved beds as well as much needed improvements to the already-existing facilities - providing increased and improved spaces for these orphans to live, play and learn. |

October 2007: Volunteers Donate 11 Computers to 3 Orphanages in Tanzania
For nearly 300 Tanzanian orphans, the idea of using a computer was merely a dream. However, donations from nearly 28 different donors recently made this fantasy a reality. Presently, three different orphanages in Tanzania can now offer this pivotal learning tool to its orphaned children thanks to the generosity of these donors. |

October 2007: Volunteers Love Mr. Yotam - Tanzania Coordinator
We at Global Crossroad are always proud of our international leaders and in-country coordinators (working in 34 different countries world-wide) who put forth tremendous effort serving their communities as well as assisting our volunteers to ensure the success and thorough enjoyment of their abroad experiences. In usual fashion, Mr. Yotam - our Tanzania In-Country Coordinator - won the admiration and respect of our volunteers.
