Ecuador Coordinator

Born in Quito, Ecuador, Ms. Maria worked with several reputable NGOs before joining the Global Crossroad program in Ecuador as the Country Coordinator. She has been running local volunteer and service projects for the last seven years to promote community development works in Ecuador. Her experience with international volunteers and her interest in working in this area mostly arise from his interest in cross-cultural learning and community life.

Ms. Maria says, "I am interested to come in contact with the communities and also take part in their development. I like to conserve the forest and the species with its habitat. I want to help poor and disable children and secure a good future for them and their families. I also like to meet and recommend people who love to volunteer, and travel because I think everyone who goes to another country needs a person to share his/her experience".
