Mr. Jeff
Gao – China Coordinator
Born in Shandong Province,
the hometown of great thinker
and educator Confucius, Jeff
has been working as a teacher
of English at local universities
for more than 14 years. He has
got a happy family, with a son
of nine years old and currently
live in Qingdao, a famous city
for its history and culture
and picturesque tourist attractions.
Jeff has got the expertise of
working as an in-country coordinator
and China program manager for
several international organizations.
He gladly joined Global Crossroad
in Sept. 2004, working as our
new China Programs Coordinator.

1986-1990 - Liaocheng University,
China, BA in English Education
1996-1997 - Nottingham University,
UK, MA in English Language in
Literary Studies
Experience:
14 years working as a Teacher
of English at tertiary level
and Volunteer Coordinator for
different international organizations
in China including I-to-I.
Interests:
I enjoy many different things.
Some of those are: table tennis,
shopping, being with friends¨Ceating,
drinking and singing karaok
together, listening to music,
going to different places, talking,
reading, and basically anything
that is fun. I hate when some
people are treated better than
others because of their race,
background, knowledge or grade.
I am a fair, loving, and caring
person and think everyone should
be treated fairly. Friends describe
me as talkative, outgoing, friendly,
gullible, smart, and trustworthy.

Assistant Country Coordinator-

Kavin Fan, 26, is Global Crossroad's
Assistant Country Coordinator
for China. A native of China,
Kavin received his advanced
certificate in English education
from Binzhou Teachers’
College. Before joining Global
Crossroad, Kavin worked as an
English teacher. He is eager
to make your China experience
memorable, enriching, and life
changing.
