Volunteer In Orphanage in China
Overview of the Project
China faces a growing orphan population. Most orphanages in China are understaffed and short on funds, yet the staff remains dedicated to caring for these children. These children are a delight to interact with and volunteers are needed to help care for them, help them with schoolwork and teach them valuable life skills. The Chinese orphans are energetic and eager to learn from our volunteers. Volunteers are needed to share love and affection with these children who have no families or parents.
Role of Volunteer
As a volunteer in orphanage in China project, you will provide care for the children, help them with their homework, offer workshops, participate in playtime activities, etc. Most volunteers work with other volunteers and/or teachers and assistants. Volunteers support life-skill development and day-to-day activities at the orphanage such as feeding the children and preparing them for school.
