one week orientation and cultural
immersion program designed to introduce
language, culture, and challenges
of Brazil before the start of program.
7 days orientation covers 20 hours
of Portuguese classes, 3 levels catered
for ie. Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced,
includes language course book. At
the end course test and certificate
of competence will be awarded. Language
teaching is very much eclectic with
an emphasis on the communication methodology.
In additional to
language training, orientation comprises
of guided tour of historic city, (Recife
or Olinda), welcome talk, presentation
by Police on how to stay safe in Brazil,
orientation of local area, public
transport ¨practice, shopping
trip, capoeira lesson.(Brazilian Martial
Art)….
