Work for NG0 - Human and Environmental Rights
This NGO's focus is highlighting and investigating the link between environmental degradation and the violation of human rights. By conducting field investigations, this NGO is able to advise communities and share information with them and other organizations through workshops, forums, and talks/debates about the environmental issues that affect the well-being of their people. There are several major projects: Legal Clinic for Human Rights and Environment; Global Governance Program; and Program on Human Rights, Environment and Poverty.
This NGO offers unique volunteer and internship opportunities in the fields of environmental and human rights for dynamic and self-motivated individuals to participate in any of its programs by conducting research, fieldwork, and training. There are many different activities with which volunteers can help such as creating a library/archive of material; assisting in the publication of information; investigating new channels of information and public participation; analyzing the link between corporations and human rights, working with the Legal Clinic on investigations; or helping local organization develop an Image Bank. Work location may be at headquarters or offsite.
