Registered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (U.S.) in 2003, Global Crossroad, LLC is one of the world's fastest growing international volunteer vacation organizations. Its ever-expanding programs offer a variety of volunteer and travel programs in 34 different countries throughout Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America: Volunteer Abroad, TEFL Abroad, Tours and Travels, Internship Abroad, Mini-Venture, Group Seasonal Escapes and Paid Teaching opportunities.

Since 2003, more than 6000 world-travelers/volunteers have participated in Global Crossroad's Volunteer Abroad, Mini-Ventures, Adventure Travel, Seasonal Escapes, Teach Abroad, and other customized group programs. Our business has been growing substantially each year (an increase of nearly 300% since 2003) and is a true reflection of our respected and unique volunteer vacation and travel abroad programs. Our philosophy involves more than simply placing a volunteer in a grassroots project. TEFL Abroad: In partnership with world-leading TEFL institutions, we now offer a rare
opportunity of earning an internationally-recognized TEFL certification (120-hour courses) while being immersed in a new culture of 17 fascinating, exotic destinations. Additionally, we also offer an online, self-paced, TEFL course – enabling you to acquire an international teaching certification & set off on a meaningful journey of teaching AND exploring abroad.

Teach Abroad: Since 2004, Global Crossroad has remained a leading teacher placement agency for China – sending 200 English-teachers each year.  In our efforts to provide more teaching abroad positions, we recently teamed up with some of the most reputable and well-respected schools and educational partners in China, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Chile, Russia, Brazil, and Mexico.
